This study assessed Community Based Organizations efforts in improving the status of adolescents’ sexual and reproductive health in rural Zimbabwe. The research employed both quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, and focus group discussions. A sample of 42 participants was chosen from a population of 424 in-school adolescents of Zangama Secondary School in ward 25 of Buhera district. Stratified random sampling technique was used in selecting primary respondents. Bar graphs, pie charts and tables were used to present data. The data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).From the analysis of the findings, the study revealed that the Adolescents Sexual and Reproductive Health services offered by Rujeko Community Based Organization in Buhera district were not comprehensive. The findings also indicated that information on HIV/AIDS and STIs was the major service that was being provided by Rujeko. The study findings also indicated low access and utilization of sexual and reproductive health services by adolescents. The research identified lack of awareness of adolescent’s services as the major reason cited by adolescents for non- use of sexual and reproductive health services. Furthermore, the study also highlighted that lack of financial resources was the major factor hindering the efforts of Rujeko Community Based Organization in improving the status of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health in Buhera district. The study recommends that the government provides financial support to Community Based Organizations offering Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health services in rural areas of Zimbabwe. In addition, the study recommended that Rujeko should strive to provide a comprehensive package of sexual and reproductive health services to adolescents in Buhera district. It is also recommended that Rujeko should carryout awareness campaigns to inform adolescents, the community and stakeholders about Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health.
