An Analysis of gender mainstreaming in the HIV and AIDS initiatives run by Midlands Aids Service Organisation (MASO)
The study looked into the programmes carried out at Midlands AIDS Service Organisation in the Midlands Province in Zimbabwe. The main focus of the programme is to offer various HIV/AIDS related services to inhabitants of the community with the purpose of improving how human beings address the pandemic. What the study was focusing on was Gender mainstreaming in the Midlands Province, a corrective approach that was considered ideal especially in an environment which was traditionally dominated by males. The activities are now including females since they are the most vulnerable of the society.
